one of my favorite moments each spring hit this week - the blooming of the lilacs. their flowers do not last very long, but delightfully fondle the senses. strange to me that i cannot stand the scent of lilac in anything else - neither lotions nor old ladies wear it well.
i miss him
Funny, cuz I too don't like lilac product smell either....in fact, I'm not crazy about those flowers in my house. I prefer them wafting outdoors, awakening my olfactory and brightening my day.
ReplyDeleteBut i just bought a shower gel the other day. Guess what scent it was. But it doesn't actually smell like it.
i need a lilac tree in my yard. or is it bush? i think it's a bush. regardless, it's needed.
